Church People: "Libby" (Elizabeth) Lee, Pierre Adventist church member. Volunteer worker at Gakoni Adventist Orphanage, Rwanda, Africa. (Click on image for larger size.)  After retiring from her nursing job at Pierre Golden Living Center in 2011, Libby is serving a one year volunteer term at Gakoni Adventist Orphanage (on Facebook). Her duties include nursing and general tasks at the orphanage. She says there are many needs at the orphanage, most of them financial as Rwanda is economically poor country. One of current needs is funding to build a security wall around the orphanage to protect the children, crops, food supplies and property from theft and damage. The project cost is estimated near sixty thousand USD. If you can help assist with contributions for the orphanage please contact the church at the above address. A tax deductible receipt can be issued.
